You can’t live in a rural community without getting involved. That’s why I offered my services to Ashford Carbonel Parish Council to help it produce its Village Design Statement.
Working with committee members, councillors and villagers alike, the final result was widely praised for outlining an important aspect of rural life clearly and concisely.
Birmingham Bach Choir
Birmingham Bach Choir has been an integral part of Birmingham’s musical heritage for over 90 years. And they’ve been a client of Blast Design for nearly 20 of them!
I first worked with the Choir to design a new corporate identity and implement it across all their literature. I recently undertook an update of the logo and incorporated it in the Choir’s redesigned annual programme.
Moorpark School
After 20 years in Birmingham, I decided to move Blast Design over to Ludlow in 2002. One of my first projects here was to update the identity of the town’s Moorpark School. As well as redesigning the logo, the project expanded to redesigningthe school’s annual brochure, ‘Crust and Crumbs’, and this was quickly followed by their 40th anniversary brochure ‘Connections’. Signage was next to be updated and I’m continuing to be heavily involved with projects.
Beowulf Brewery
Beowulf is a successful small brewery that started its life in Yardley in Birmingham and has now moved to its own custom built brewery in Walsall. As well as designing the logo I regularly produce adverts and new labels and pump clips for their various beers.
Newsletters
I have been compiling newsletters for many years. These range from a simple 2 sided A4 to full colour multiple page documents.
New Beacon School
I have recently undertaken the redesign of the schools corporate identity as well as producing publicity material such as the annual prospectus.
